Start with a clear idea
An AI photo prompt is a written creative brief. It describes the subject, setting, lighting and composition you want a compatible AI tool to interpret. Before choosing a prompt, decide what the picture is for: a profile photo, a visual story or an experiment with a new style. A single purpose makes your choices easier.
Discover a direction and read the whole prompt
Browse a category on Prompt King, open a prompt detail page, and read both the prompt and its practical notes. Reference images communicate a mood; they are not a promise of what another tool will produce. Look at the lighting, outfit and crop separately so you know which details you want to keep.
Copy, then make it personal
Use Copy Prompt to copy the text. Replace details such as clothing, background or expression with your own choices. If a prompt asks for a black outfit and you prefer a cream jacket, change that detail consistently throughout the brief. Avoid adding several competing lighting setups or camera angles.
Use your preferred compatible tool
Paste the prompt into the tool you choose. If that tool supports reference photos, follow its upload instructions and use a photo you have permission to use. Prompt King does not receive an uploaded photo or produce an image through this flow. Tool capabilities, account requirements and outputs vary.
Review and refine
Check facial proportions, hands, clothing edges and background details before sharing the result. Change one part of your prompt at a time, keeping a copy of the earlier version so you can compare. If the mood is right but the crop is too tight, adjust the framing before rewriting the whole brief.
